We have been told by many of our exhibitors over numerous years that they have been contacted by Fair Guide and are pleased this will now end.

M+IT will be represented in person by sending each of our team members to a different city across Canada, to participate in National Industry Meetings Day. Starting from East to West: Alanna McQuaid will be in Halifax, Stephanie Hiltz in Montreal, Christine Otsuka in Ottawa, Sonja Chilcott and Lori Smith in Toronto, Stephen Ferrie in Winnipeg, Brian Eastcott in Edmonton, Robin Paisley in Calgary and Cori Canuel in Vancouver.

The team will be tweeting from their respective cities throughout the day, bringing the entire M+IT community together to continue the conversation from the previous day’s tweet chat.

She will work directly with Robin Paisley, General Manager of IncentiveWorks. Hiltz’s proven background in events and publishing will help ensure IncentiveWorks continues to grow at record pace, allowing the event to further its leadership position in the Canadian marketplace for meetings and incentive travel.

Hiltz comes to IncentiveWorks with over eight years of experience in trade show and conference operations, editorial and developing successful partnerships. Most recently she was the Editor at Pink & Blue Magazine, a publication focused on expert advice for parents and caregivers. Prior to that she was the Communications Officer at IT360 Conference & Expo and was responsible for all marketing, customer service, public relations and exhibitor communication for the event. She started her career in marketing and event production and has her HBA from the University of Waterloo. This background has helped Hiltz to make an easy transition into her position at IncentiveWorks.

Hiltz’s appointment comes right at the start of another successful year for the company. “After 22 years, IncentiveWorks is growing steadily and proven as the key event in the industry,” said Robin Paisley, General Manager of IncentiveWorks. “Stephanie’s experience is exactly what we need to continue moving ahead in our 2013 event and beyond.”

Alan Doyle, founder and one of the lead singers of Great Big Sea, will be performing a private concert at Canada Rocks – The Official IncentiveWorks Opening Night. Great Big Sea, a celtic and folk rock group, has released 10 albums since the band’s formation in 1993. A native of Newfoundland, Doyle has also twice guest starred on the CBC Television series Republic of Doyle.
